Learn Dog Grooming basics and Husbandries ESAAP Module 1

Debbie Jacobs, CPDT-KA owner and founder of Fearfuldogs.com recommends this hands-on workshop to all professionals and nonprofessionals who want to learn basic force free grooming techniques. "Too many dogs have difficulty with handling at the groomer or vet. Trainers, dog educators, groomers and dog owners get up to speed in force free stress reduction training to help dogs become comfortable with a variety of procedures that, without the techniques learned in ESAAP, require restraints or even sedation to achieve the result."

"Long before the Fear Free movement was born, Yanick and Marie-Claude were teaching groomers in Europe and Canada how to groom dogs and cats without force or restraint, in stress reduction (TCAP). Their TCAP program has proven itself in the grooming community since 2010. Watching Marie-Claude, Yanick, the dog educators and the groomers they train, I think we should invent a new name to describe what they do! It's not just fear-free but it's also a wonderful artistic training!"

This workshop is aimed at both professionals and dogs' humans who wish to learn the basics of grooming while training animals to be in a calm, fearless and confident state when being brushed, detangled, shaved, washed, dried and when trimming the claws.

This workshop is also for dog trainers who want to learn how to train dogs to groom, as well as for animal health technicians to help them in their daily routine.
